Member Meet Up: Private Tour of Gateway to Pride

Thursday, July 3, 2025 (3:30 PM - 4:30 PM) (CDT)

Description

Join peers from the PhilMO St. Louis Funder Network on Thursday, July 3, for networking and a special learning opportunity at Gateway to Pridethe Missouri History Museum's first full-scale exhibition documenting and celebrating the experiences of LGBTQIA+ St. Louisans.

Our tour will be generously facilitated by Steven Brawley, Executive Vice President at ARCHS, noted historian and author, founder of the St. Louis LGBT History Project. This program is only offered in-person and involves movement through the exhibit. Members with mobility limitations or other accessibility needs may find it useful to review the Museum's accessibility map in advance.

There are MetroBus and MetroLink stops proximate to the MO History Museum. If you drive, please allot time to find (free) parking around the building. We will gather just inside the Museum's main entrance by 3:30PM and make our way up to the exhibit space together. If you arrive and do not see Michelle or Steve, text Michelle at 512-787-5111.

Our time together will be informal and last about an hour. You may want to plan additional time to further explore this or other exhibits and/or to enjoy Thursday Nights at the Museum. We also encourage you to consider coming back on Saturday, July 5, for the exhibit's festive Closing Weekend Celebration.
