"Navigating Across Generations at Work" will move beyond surface-level generational awareness to explore practical strategies that turn workplace differences into organizational strengths. This virtual discussion is designed with grantmakers in mind and will include advanced techniques for building bridges across generational gaps, fostering inclusive environments, and resolving conflicts that arise from diverse workplace perspectives. Attendees will gain actionable tools to enhance communication, create more effective collaborative spaces, and build stronger, more cohesive teams. Leave equipped with strategies you can implement immediately to transform your multi-generational philanthropic workplace.

Jeremy York, Lead Consultant and President, Invigorate HR


Jeremy York, SHRM-SCP, SPHR is the Lead Consultant and President of InvigorateHR and coauthor of the “JoyPowered Organization.” He has over 20 years' experience in human resource strategy and business operations where he has worked with and advised all levels of management on critical business and people-related issues. Jeremy's expertise in defining and understanding the "big picture" enables him to translate business needs into tangible solutions. With his guidance, organizations have improved employee relations, increased performance, and developed cultures based on mutual trust and respect. Jeremy holds a master’s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Purdue University. He has served as an adjunct faculty member for Purdue University Indianapolis for over 15 years teaching various leadership and human resources curriculums. Jeremy is a national speaker and currently serves as an advisor on the Society for Human Resource Management’s Diversity Taskforce.


What is the Midwest Partnership?

The Midwest Partnership is a collaboration between the Council of Michigan Foundations, Indiana Philanthropy Alliance, Philanthropy Missouri, and Philanthropy Ohio. 


The Midwest Partnership publishes an annual Midwest Grantmaker Salary Report and hosts joint programs, including monthly webinars connecting funders across the four states. Webinars are typically designed for community foundations, corporate foundations and giving programs, and/or family foundations. Occasionally, a program will be relevant to all foundation types -- and all foundation types may register for any program. 

Participation in webinars and access to the annual Salary Report is free for Member organizations. Non-Members may not access the report but may register for most webinars by contributing a $75 fee.
