Description

REGISTER TODAY - sT. lOUIS peep

In a time when many nonprofit and philanthropic leaders are navigating uncertainty, strong relationships matter more than ever.

PEEP — the Party to Enhance Equity in Philanthropy — is an annual opportunity for nonprofit and grantmaking colleagues to gather as peers, build authentic connections, and help break down some of the power dynamics that can exist within our sector.

This year, AFP St. Louis and Philanthropy Missouri's St. Louis Funder Network invite you to join us at the historic Phyllis Wheatley Heritage Center for an afternoon of learning, conversation, and connection. Participants may attend either or both portions of the event.

This event is designed for you to (re)connect with colleagues across the social sector. Registration is required.

AGENDA

Panel Discussion (3:00 - 4:00PM)

This year we are offering an optional panel that will explore how strategic collaboration can help strengthen organizations and sustain essential community services during periods of change.

Through the perspectives of nonprofit leaders and philanthropic partners involved in a recent organizational transition, panelists will share lessons learned about collaboration, stewardship, community impact, and what it takes to thoughtfully navigate evolving circumstances while keeping mission at the center.

Networking Social (4:00 - 6:00PM)

Following the panel, stay for the signature PEEP gathering: an informal opportunity to connect with nonprofit and philanthropic colleagues over light refreshments, beverages, and conversation.

Audience & Registration

All St. Louis-area nonprofit leaders, grantmakers, foundation staff and trustees, and social sector partners are welcome. There is a nominal cost to attend and registration is required.

If you encounter challenges registering for this program or otherwise navigating our website, help is available by contacting info@philmo.org

WHAT IS PEEP?

Launched in 2017 as Beverages to Enhance Equity in Relationships (BEER), PEEP was created to encourage nonprofit and philanthropic leaders to connect as people first. While no single conversation can eliminate sector power dynamics, authentic relationships help create a more collaborative, effective, and equitable social sector.

At its core, PEEP is about building trust, fostering belonging, and creating space for meaningful connection across roles, organizations, and perspectives. PEEP is meant to be fun and welcoming.
