The Rural Network brings together funders committed to supporting Missouri's rural communities, offering a space to connect, share resources, and coordinate around the unique needs of the regions we serve.

For this session, we'll turn our attention to a timely topic: how shifting federal priorities are affecting rural nonprofits and the communities they serve, and what a thoughtful funder response might look like. 

At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to:

✅ Connect with fellow funders and share grantmaking updates.

✅ Discuss current and forecasted impacts of shifting federal priorities on rural nonprofits and the communities they serve, and explore ideas for individual and coordinated responses.

✅ Hear a policy presentation and landscape update relevant to rural philanthropy, followed by Q&A.

About the Network

The Rural Funder Network supports Missouri funders who invest in — or are exploring — rural communities. This Network meets quarterly virtually or in rural communities across the state to build and deepen trusted relationships, share effective and innovating practices, and explore opportunities for collaboration. 

Participants gain a deeper understanding of rural communities and equitable philanthropic practice, strengthen partnerships, help bring more resources and visibility to rural Missouri.
